Responsible Service of Alcohol, Responsible Conduct of Gambling

Liquor & Gaming NSW approved, Nationally Recognised Training

RSA training (SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol) is mandatory for everyone in NSW involved in the sale and supply of liquor to the public.
RCG training (SITHGAM001 Provide responsible gambling services) is mandatory for everyone in NSW involved with Gambling.
Your competency card is valid for five years.

Who can do RSA/RCG training?

You can do the RSA and RCG training at any age. However, you may NOT serve alcohol or use your RSA / RCG until you are at least 18 years of age.

You may wish to attempt this Language Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) assessment to find out if you need special support.
We may request you to complete this LLN test before course commencement.

SITHFAB002 - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol

Liquor & Gaming NSW approved, Nationally Recognised Training

RSA training aims to minimise harm associated with the misuse and abuse of liquor.

Training Content

  • Sell or serve alcohol responsibly
  • Assist customers to drink within appropriate limits
  • Assess alcohol affected customers and identify customers to whom sale or service must be refused
  • Refuse to provide alcohol
  • Course duration is 6 hours nominal face to face

SITHGAM001 - Provide Responsible Gambling Services

Liquor & Gaming NSW approved, Nationally Recognised Training

The Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) course helps to promote safety (harm minimisation) in venues where there are gaming machines, including how to recognise gambling problems and addiction.

Evidence of Identity

Participants must bring to the course a state issued photo ID

Unique Student Identifier

The Australian Government requires all students to register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI). It is easy and fast to do. Get your USI here on your SmartPhone, Tablet or Computer. You must bring your USI number to the course. Ask us for assistance if needed.
