CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
White Card Delivery
We deliver the White Card to high school students on campus in New South Wales. Students must be at least 14 years of age to attend the course.
No other pre-requisites. 6 Hours face to face training.
White Card Issuance
On the training day, after successful course completion, participants will receive a SafeWork NSW Statement of Training (SOT) which allows participants to work immediately. This SOT is followed by a SafeWork NSW issued White Card, which will be sent out to participants within 60 days of successfully completing the course.
Statement of Attainment
Successful participants will also receive a Statement of Attainment for CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, within 30 days, provided a valid USI has been received. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for information about the USI.
White Card Validity
Our White Card is SafeWork NSW approved, valid in each State and Territory and is a legal requirement for those people doing construction work. It is also commonly referred to as Construction Induction Card or Unit of Competency CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
There is no expiry date for the White Card.

You may wish to attempt this Language Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) assessment form to find out if you need special support. We may request you to complete this LLN test before course enrolment.

Evidence of Identity
Any high school staff wishing to attend must bring 100 points of ID e.g.
Participants must be at least 14 years of age to participate in this training. All documents must be originals. Further information on the documents you can use to prove your identity can be found in this evidence of identity information sheet. If unsure please contact us first.
USI (Unique Student Identifier)
The Australian Government requires all students to register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI). It is easy and fast to do. Get your USI here on your SmartPhone, Tablet or Computer. Visit https://www.usi.gov.au/ to register for your USI. You must bring your USI number to the course. Ask us for assistance if needed.
