CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry

The Queensland White Card course can be delivered by interactive virtual classroom technology for the duration of the Queensland Declared State of Emergency (COVID-19).
Participants must have a hard hat, earplugs or ear muffs, safety glasses, high visibility vest and dust mask ready for demonstration.
We will be running virtual classroom sessions with qualified Trainers & Assessors. Please see these virtual classroom session dates and times above.
This WorkSafe QLD approved White Card Course meets the requirements of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulation 2011.
National code CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Identify construction hazards and risk control measures.
Identify incident and emergency response procedures.
Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes.
Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work.
Minimum Course Duration is 6 hours 45 minutes. This includes two fifteen minute breaks.
The course includes written, verbal and practical assessments.
A Statement of Attainment will be issued to those who successfully complete the course. The WorkSafe QLD White Card will be posted after successful completion of the course.
The Australian Government requires ALL students to register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI). It is easy and fast to do. Register for a USI at www.usi.gov.au Students must bring their USI number to the course, including the exact name they used to register for the USI. A White Card or Statement of Attainment can not be issued unless a valid USI is received.
Minimum participant age for the course is 14 years old. Evidence of Identity for high school students can be confirmed by a school Photo ID Card any other participants wishing to attend must bring 100 points of identity. The documents will be checked at the beginning of the course. The following combinations are accepted:

We may ask you to complete this LLN assessment before course enrolment.
