White Card Courses
A white card, also known as a general construction induction card, is a necessary certification for most operating in the construction industry.
White Card Training provides the qualification that is necessary to work in the construction industry.
Our trainers are experienced industry professionals who have developed an engaging program for construction workers to attain the required accreditations to work safely in the industry.
Whether you are considering building a long-term career in the construction industry or seeking temporary labouring work, you’re going to need and will likely benefit from White Card Training.
Our White Card Courses meet the requirements of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulation 2017.
National code CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Hazards
Identify construction hazards and risk control measures.
Procedures
Identify incident and emergency response procedures.
Communication
Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes.
Legislation
Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work.
Course Duration
Minimum Course Duration is 6 hours 45 minutes. This includes two fifteen minute breaks.
Assessment
The course includes written, verbal and practical assessments.
Course Award
A Statement of Attainment will be awarded to all who complete CPCCWHS1001.
A White Card will be sent out to participants after the completion of the course. This can take up to 60 days.

Unique Student Identifier
The Australian Government requires ALL students to register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI). It is easy and fast to do. Register for a USI at www.usi.gov.au Students must bring their USI number to the course, including the exact name they used to register for the USI. A White Card or Statement of Attainment can not be issued unless a valid USI is received.
Evidence of Identity
Minimum participant age for the course is 14 years old. Evidence of Identity for high school students can be confirmed by a school Photo ID Card any other participants wishing to attend must bring 100 points of identity. The documents will be checked at the beginning of the course. The following combinations are accepted:
- High School Students only - School Photo ID Card or
- Passport plus Australian drivers license or
- Full Australian birth certificate plus Australian drivers license or
- Australian drivers license plus medicare card plus bank card plus utility bill or phone bill or car rego papers.

You may wish to attempt a Language Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) assessment to find out if you need special support. This LLN assessment is available on request. We may ask you to complete this LLN assessment before course enrolment.
